VCatch 3.0 was designed specifically for users of WebMail, ICQ, Napster, and Gnutella who download or share files on a daily basis. The software was developed to protect PCs from web viruses before incoming files are even opened.
It is well known today that viruses are being delivered through e-mail, file sharing or instant messaging. Moreover, viruses can pose as screen savers, mpegs, jpgs and even mp3 files. The content of a hard drive can be destroyed by one click on an unknown attachment.
VCatch will help prevent this. The software will stop any known viruses from entering a computer and will notify the user every time someone is trying to send a virus.
VCatch is different from most other major anti-virus products:
1. VCatch is absolutely free of charge. Not an ordinary 30 days trial version, but a free download to keep.
2. VCatch does not need to be constantly downloaded with virus definition lists. The software updates itself once a day.
3. VCatch complements leading anti-viral software utilities such as Norton and McAfee.
4. VCatch is very small, and uses the computer`s resources only when one of the applications is running.
