Kaspersky® Anti-Virus for Linux File Server
Kaspersky® Anti-Virus for Linux File Server protects against all malicious codes intended for file and application servers running Linux. It detects and deletes viruses and malicious codes of all known virus types including those specifically targeting Linux.

Kaspersky® Anti-Virus for Linux /Unix (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, BSDi, Solaris) detects and removes malicious programs of all types, i.e. Internet worms, Trojans, dangerous Java and ActiveX applets and computer viruses.
The package includes the following tools:
Anti-Virus Scanner - checks disks on user command
Anti-Virus Daemon is a variation of the anti-virus scanner with optimized memory-loading - this allows it to filter data for viruses in real-time
Anti-Virus Monitor is a client application for the Anti-Virus Daemon. It operates based on the principle of "file operation intercepting" (starting, opening and initialization of modules) to check for viruses
Integrity Checker - Kaspersky® Inspector traces content changes on your computer by comparing CRC-sum modifications against their database entries to provide reliable control over data integrity
Combined use of these modules provides you with highly efficient anti-virus protection system.
The program checks for and deletes malicious virus codes from compressed files, as well as detects viruses in archived files. With the help of heuristic analysis unknown virus programs can be detected as well.
Daily anti-virus base updates for Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux /UNIX systems are downloaded via the Internet using the embedded Updater utility.
