WinEdit 2000 is an award-winning, professional-strength programmer`s text editor.
WinEdit includes all of the basics you expect: search and replace, adjustable fonts and sizes, headers, footers, page numbering, double-page printing, multiple open files and split-file editing. Advanced features include: a floating, dockable toolbar; undo/redo; fast file loading and scrolling, even on huge files; color-coded syntax highlighting; file merge; color-coded source code; auto-indent; regular expression `grep` searches; column selection; templates for C, C++, BASIC, x86 assembler and other languages; full project management for completely automating your compile, debug, rebuild cycle; direct links to major language help libraries; a macro language with over 550 functions available; file comparison for finding and highlighting the differences between two text files; the ability to read and write UNIX and Macintosh text files; and much, much more.
WinEdit has excellent support for creating HTML pages. It includes a built-in HTML viewer, comes with FTP support, and has an HTML tag generator. It has complete Java JDK support, including on the fly creation of HTML applet wrappers.
The macro language allows you to create custom menus for each file type you work with. |
