Welcome to VISOCO dbExpress Driver for Sybase
VISOCO dbExpress Driver for Sybase is a lightweight database driver that provide fast access
between Kylix applications and Sybase database using new dbExpress technologies.
Key features:
High-performance native access to Sybase ASE/ASA;
Compatibility with standard and third-party Borland data-aware controls;
Easy installation and distribution;
Minimized driver size and uses system resources;
dbExpress Driver for Sybase is royalty-free product! This means you have to
register dbExpress Driver for Sybase for each developer, but not for each user
of application you have developed.
VISOCO dbExpress Driver for Sybase developed and tested with the following compilers and
database servers:
Kylix v.2.0;
Kylix v.3.0;
Sybase ASE 11.0*;
Sybase ASE 11.5*;
Sybase ASE 12.5*
* You need the Sybase Open-Client with ct-library installed.
You must purchase the Open Client software separately from Sybase.
