You’ve seen a site advertised, you want to see how popular it is (Alexa rank – volume of traffic), you want to want to see how it’s reached it’s place in the Search Engine (page rank), or you want to see how many inbound links it has (indexed pages)? You can do this and more with the new software called ‘SEO Detective’. It is called the ‘Digital Search Engine Optimisation Detective’.
It takes you through the research in a logical manner. You can enter two sites and compare the data. See which, if any, search engine has listed that site. It will even reveal the highest ranking and top performing pages of any website.
See if ‘Google is dancing’? In other words check whether Google is updating it’s index. For any keyword, the results are shown on the basis of all three Google data-centres ‘www.google.com’, ‘www2.google.com’ and ‘www3.google.com’. When they are switching (dancing), it shows that Google is updating it’s the ranking or updating its database. This could effect which page the search engines displays a certain site. Also, it has a reporting system that can record the trend of the performance of any site. Another useful benefit, is to show all the pages that are listed against the main (home) URL. When they are listed , you click on those pages and go straight to see them displayed. Then if you wish to contact the site webmaster, there is another button to go direct to ‘Whois’ to show the site owner/contact details. This is very helpful if you wish to request inbound links from that site.
Additionally, performance reports can be run and saved. This site could become extremely useful to the ‘Internet Marketer’, it is predicted it could become a programme that is used every day because of its useful features. This makes it very affordable at $47 (at the time of writing). A video tutorial comes with the software, and as far as we know has been fully tested and is bug free. |
