Power Editing is an interactive tutorial that teaches you how to edit and revise sentences.

This program can benefit students (junior high to college), as well as secretaries, business professionals, and even writers who want to polish up their revision and editing skills. It includes nine lessons, and an interactive test for each lesson. The test provides instant feedback on every question.

Power Editing covers a variety of topics including phrases and clauses, dependent and independent clauses, conjunctions, relative pronouns, punctuation (comma, semicolon, colon, dash, parenthesis, quotation mark, ellipsis, italics, and more), sentence fragments, comma splices, run-on sentences, active vs. passive voice, misplaced modifiers, dangling modifiers, non-parallel structures, and more.

Power Editing adds power and clarity to your prose, and can be used to help you edit reports, proposals, essays, and manuscripts. This program was tested in writing classes at Bowling Green State University. It is designed for writers from ages 12 to adult.
