JDoc2CHM is a conversion tool which translates Javadoc documentation to Microsoft Compiled HTML Help file. It will be able to compile almost any standard generated Javadoc documentations, including the Java API Documentation.
Why to convert JavaDoc to CHM? You may find that Java API doc can only be opened in browser. It is slow and it is hard to find the contain pages or keyword s, also it doesn`t support search text... In contrast with Java help documentation, Microsoft HTML Help is more powerfull. It is the standard help system for the Windows platform. Great convenience , index, built-in search engine, bookmark and so on.
So it is good idea to convert your Javadoc API documentations to Compiled HTML help. Jdoc2chm can do you a favor. |
