InstallWizard allows you to create professional installations for your applications.
InstallWizard provides a multi-lingual standard Windows user interface, and can display a user-defined bitmap inside the wizard window. DLLs are included to support different user interface languages.
It supports installations using multiple sources such as floppy disks, CD-ROMs, hard drives, and also mixed media. InstallWizard also gives you the ability to: install projects using script files; install by components; automatically decompress files that have been compressed using the Microsoft COMPRESS.EXE tool; create program groups and icons; modify the Windows registry; display license agreements; and register a user and company name for the installation. InstallWizard supports automatic deinstallation through the Windows user interface, or via an explicitly created uninstaller icon.
The InstallWizard is variably configurable through script files and thus open for a wide scale of applications. Scripts can be created semi-automatically using the script generator tool. A sample installation project is also included. |
