Up until now it was almost impossible to get a good overview of your co-worker calendars and appointments integrated with Outlook. GroupCalendar, a easy to install Outlook add-on, solves that problem in a simple but effective and flexible way.

GroupCalendar can be used with or without a Exchange server. The latter provides a real time overview of all co-worker appointments in one public calendar folder.
If no Exchange server is used, all appointments are stored in a database and periodically synchronized with a sub-folder of the default Outlook calendar.
Each user can be given one or more department names which are written to the appointments in the GC folder. Standard Outlook `view` functionality can be used to create filters and views to switch between different groups (department names) or even single users in the same folder.
