Its integrated Relational Database System makes finding and managing assets quick and easy, particularly powerful when looking for something archived months (or more) ago. More than an organizer, the Explorer-like presentation, color-coded displays augmented with rich "at-a-glance" symbols works in conjunction with the tool programs (e.g., PageMaker, Illustrator, Premier) used to create and develop media assets. Its integrated Relational Database System makes finding and managing assets quick and easy, particularly powerful when looking for something archived months (or more) ago. MAT captures information and automatically inserts it into deliverable Packages for clients and service bureaus, eliminating redundant entry and incomplete instructions or directions. The integrated email handles quick questions that need quick answers that arise, as well as sending deliverable Packages to clients and service bureaus. Package deliverables can also be sent using the integrated FTP utility with just a mouse-click. Packages for service bureaus (e.g., for film generation) include detailed information on the assets and their tool programs, instructions captured during ordinary usage, as well as an electronic order form, eliminating potential sources of error and confusion. Increasingly, MAT pays for itself during its evaluation period, not only in direct time savings but also in eliminating a lot of the hassles in finding and managing media assets. |
