Beginning Visual Basic provides an interactive, self-paced tutorial that introduces the Visual Basic programming language and environment.

The course is designed for absolute beginners -- no previous programming experience or knowledge is required. The approach to creating a Visual Basic application is explained in step-by-step, easy-to-follow terms. Five lessons are included: `Introducing Visual Basic`, `The Visual Basic Environment`, `Your First Visual Basic Project`, `Project Design, Forms, Command Buttons`, and `Labels, Text Boxes, Variables`. Numerous examples are used to demonstrate every step in the application building process.

The tutorial itself is presented in Microsoft Word DOC format.
