AutoPix is an automated NNTP downloading program for newsgroup binaries. Setup is quick and easy and will have you transferring graphics and other binaries in no time flat. Hands-free operation (once you`ve configured it) downloads binaries from the newsgroups you`ve selected, saving them in the folder of your choice.
AutoPix handles multiple servers, Uencoded, MIME and yEnc encoded files and can automatically show a thumbnail preview of files as they`re downloaded.
You can subscribe to specific newsgroups, filter received files by minimum and maximum length, eliminate duplicates, filter by `x` number of crossposts, and lock out unwanted senders, either permanently or for the current session.
You can configure AutoPix to retrieve and/or display specific file types and even allow it to retrieve unknown file types. AutoPix also features a full-size viewer for graphics. |
