Why do I need AppSafe Xtra? Software such as SoftIce and other debuggers/disassemblers/monitors can load your program into a process and monitor every line of code your application executes. If you have a registration routine, crackers can use these tools to do step-by-step operations of your application and discover your registration routines, sensitive password areas, serial numbers, and other critical data. AppSafe makes it far more difficult for crackers to use these tools against your software. |
